THE TEAHOUSE

 TeaHouse-East-Aspect-web  Teahouse Joinery 1 clear

A contemporary reworking of the traditional Zen Teahouse to allow a ‘camp’ on a pristine wilderness site near Hobart Tasmania.

Constructed using a modified traditional joinery technique prtefabricated in our workshops and hand carried to the site.  The posts are spliced onto local field stones and the joinery https://www.glenerinpharmacy.com/buy-clomid-online/ assembled by the architect, client and friends.

Amato external storm doors enclose sliding shoji panels made from twin skinned ultra light Dacron spinnacher sailcloth.  Tatami mats line the floor and a Tokonomas display highlighted by a round moon window form the room.
